TUKURAN, Zamboanga del Sur—The Zamboanga Del Sur police provincial
office mobile team together with explosive ordnance division went to Purok
Aguhop, Barangay Baclay in this town and recovered the missing two 60MM mortar rounds
lost months ago.
The team inspected the explosives and disposed it. The teams brought
the items.
The groups said the mortar rounds were brought to a river last May to
be detonated but
unfortunately the items drifted and carried by the water
current.
Early barangay officials in this place found the explosives and
informed the police station about it.
