Army, PNP believe BIFF was involved in NorCot bombings


CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Nov. 11 (PNA) – The provincial government of Misamis Oriental completed vgarios infrastructure projects worth Php 144.7 million during the first 14 months of Gov. Yevgeny Vicente Emano’s incumbency. 
Emano said on Tuesday that the projects involved school buildings, road constructions and other public improvements which were completed as of November 2014.

He said that the provincial engineer's office headed by Engr. Lester Bolo completed roads with total value of Php 10.3 million out of the shares of the provincial government from the “Road User's Tax.”

These are the Daan-Manticao-Patag-Talacogon road in Mantincao; El Salvador-Kalabaylabay-Dalayap road in El Salvador City; Initao-Camelon-Sinalac road in Initao; Purok M8-Canyamohan road in Balingasag; and the Naawan-Mat-I-Cabalantian Road in Naawan.

Emano said the Php 71 million Awang-Tingalan road in the town of Opol has been completed along with the San Roque-Tup-on farm-to-market road in Medina funded by the Department of Agriculture.

He said that another road project worth Php 20.7 million was completed in El Salvador City and the towns of Laguindingan, Medina, Jasaan, Opol and Balingoan.

The provincial engineer’s office also reported the completion of the gravelling of the 11.8-kilometer road worth Php 22 million in Alubijid-Calatcat-Tugasnon and the Duyong-Taytayan-Quezon road in Libertad, Emano said.

The provincial government also completed three school projects with a total of 11 classrooms worth Php 7.5 million in the towns of Villanueva, Salay, and Balingasag.

He said that 14 other public improvement projects worth Php 14.2 million have been completed as scheduled.

These public improvement projects are the covered courts in Malagana, Claveria; Luz Banzon, Jasaan; the health center in Punta Silom in Manticao; the quarantine structure in Luga-it, and the renovation of the province’s legislative session hall, accounting and assessor’s office.(PNA)
