Commander of the 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division encouraged candidate soldiers to stay disciplined during a closing ceremony.

In his speech, BGen. Felicito Virgilio M. Trinidad Jr. told candidate soldiers that their trainings are just a preparation for more challenges yet to come.

The candidate soldiers are now the new regular members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, as the Tabak chief declared them new graduates during the ceremony Sunday, December 15 at the Division Grandstand.

At least 138 candidates from the class 318-13 will be sent off to their respective area of responsibility this month.

Aside the parents of the candidates, members of the Tabak Press Corps were also seen around covering the occasion.

After the program, the parents and the soldiers took dinner at a gym and shared fellowship with one other as they refreshed themselves from months of training.

The 138 candidates have undergone six months cross-trained specialization training such as jungle warfare among others.
