PAGDIAN City—A motorcycle gunmen shot a suspect in
Barangay San Francisco Wednesday, December 4, police said.
Victim identified as Janno Lukman Ajijul, 32,
single, motorcab driver and resident of the town of Labangan in the province of
Zamboanga del Sur, was wounded on the different parts of his body.
Villagers brought the victim to a nearby hospital.
Police said Ajijul was on his mortorcab driving when
shot in Barangay San Francisco, this town who (suspects) followed him until in
the area. Hit on his body, the victim bumped the KIA vehicle parked near a bar.
The attackers, wearing black jacket and mask, escaped
on a motorbike after the shooting.
Unfortunately, the police who were at a bar failed
to run after the attackers when blocked by students coming out from a nearby
school unconsciously.
Investigators said they found five bullet casings
of an undetermined firearm, but the motive of the attack is still unknown.
