SOMINOT, Zamboanga del Sur—Barangay Chairman of Tungawan, this town,
Rudolfo Montellana Lao, Jr., was shot to death by unidentified killers last
July 1 in Barangay Upper Sicpao, police reports said.
Police said the victim is leading towards home from Pagadian City onboard
his Honda XRM motorbike but accosted by the suspects in the area and shot the
former to death.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the back and on his
head and died on the
spot. The suspects fled to unknown direction after the incident.
Police here are investigating the shooting incident and working for the
identity of the suspects.
