Pagadian City –
The Public Safety Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI) opened their new extension
office building here last January 30 in the morning.
The
establishment was born to serve the members of the Philippine National Police
(PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail and
Management Penology (BJMP).
Lucas
M. Managuelod, PSSLAI chairman, said that the focus of the organization is to
serve the Department Interior Local Government family such as the police, fire
and jail management personnel.
With
only 24 employees, 54 million pesos in start-up capital, and a ground floor
office at the Kiangan Hall in Camp Crame, PSSLAI centered on excellent service and
innovative technology by creating products and services with the satisfaction
and financial well-being of the public safety family in mind, said the
chairman.
He
added PSSLAI extends loans at the lowest interest rates and with no hidden
charges.
Managuelod
said that the association also offers an array of investment opportunities with
high dividends.
Meanwhile,
Stephene Arapoc, official contractor of PSSLAI, considered working with the
agency as privilege where he can extend services to members of the said government
agency.
When
asked on the institution’s present development, he said PSSLAI has built seven
two satellite offices nationwide, and one office in every region.
