Tabak sets 2-day seminar on ATR

ZAMBOANGA del Sur—Army organized 2-day orientation seminar on Army Transformation Roadmap at the 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division headquarter in Pulacan, Labangan, this province last September 25 to 26.

About 21 media practitioners from TV, radio, print and online news outfits joined the occasion.

The armed forces organized the training to orient media in Region 9 on the new military disciplines en route to address insurgency problems.

Lt. Col. Audie Mongao, 1st Infantry Division public affairs officer, said they have to update the media on the army’s program as partner to establish security in the place.

Army had shifted approach to deal with guerillas by inviting stakeholders to share their parts in nation building.

ATR pushes the value formation of the members of the armed forces and the new system to reduce the growth of insurgency in the country. –Judys G. Cogo
