LAKEWOOD, Zamboanga del Sur—A member of Civilian Volunteer
Organization accidentally stabbed a victim last September 30 in Barangay
Sibugue, this town, police said early.
Victim identified as Jimuel Sacay, 23, married, of this
barangay, was rushed to a hospital for wound treatment.
Police said the incident happened after the suspect
accidentally stabbed the victim in self-defense when the later provoke the
former a fight.
Initial investigation showed the suspect only intend to
pacify a quarrel between the victim and certain Dodo while the three where
drinking in a house in the place.
Suspect indentified as Berly Ganduyog, 29, surrendered to
the police station and confessed his guilt.
