On or about 7:20 PM, June 22, 2013, a Public school
teacher was abducted by 6 unidentified persons believed to be a member of
Kidnap for ransom group at the barangay Campo Islam, Zamboanga city.
Police chief inspector Ariel TolorioHuesca, PRO9 spokesperson
identified the victim as Al Roxas, of legal age and a teacher at Western
Mindanao State University, Zamboanga City.
Huesca said, the suspects allegedly wearing a
military uniform of Philippine Army and Philippine marine during the incident
and fled toward Basilan Province area on board a two (2) Jungkong (motorized
pump boat) color red.
The Zamboanga city police office is now conducting
a thorough investigation on the incident.
